Available in the US with a range of engines including the Camaro’s 318kW/569Nm LS3 V8, Chevrolet marketing vice president Chris Perry is confident the Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition will entice those millions of people who grew up playing with Hot Wheels.

“Offering a special production model of the Camaro Hot Wheels is an opportunity to bring those memories to life, for kids of all ages,” he said.

The 1968 Custom Camaro 1:64-scale toy was one of the original 16 Hot Wheels cars issued and remains one of the most valuable Hot Wheels toys among collectors.

The SEMA show runs to November 2, 2012 featuring cars such as the Scion Tuner Challenge Toyota 86 trio, Chevrolet Malibu Turbo Performance Concept and Toyota Camry ‘Rowdy’ Edition.
