2013 Nissan 370Z styling tweaks previewed

Nissan has given us a preview of the 2013 Nissan 370Z ahead of the updated Japanese sports car’s unveiling at next week’s Paris motor show.

The refreshed 370Z scores subtle exterior styling tweaks and cabin enhancements, along with an updated colour palette and new alloy wheel designs.

The first official image of the 2013 Nissan 370Z exposes a revised air intake and vertical LED daytime running light strips at the extremities of the modified front bumper.

Nissan has made no mention of any upgrades to the 370Z’s powertrain, suggesting the facelifted model will retain the current car’s 245kW/353Nm 3.5-litre V6, which launches both the coupe and the roadster from 0-100km/h in under 6.0 seconds.

The covers will come off the hardtop and convertible variants of the 2013 Nissan 370Z at Paris on September 27. Nissan Australia's Peter Fadeyev confirmed the updated model is expected to reach local showrooms in December this year.

Prices of the updated model are expected to align closely with those of the 2012 model, which currently starts at $68,640 for the 370Z coupe and $74,990 for the 370Z roadster.

Sales of the Nissan 370Z have fallen around 11 per cent in Australia so far this year, down from 384 after the first eight months of 2011 to 342 this year.
