BMW offers limited free servicing package

BMW Australia has announced it will include its Service Inclusive Plus package on every new car ordered and delivered in September and October, presenting potential buyers with wallet-free servicing for the first three years of ownership.

The limited BMW Service Inclusive Plus offer gives new car buyers the benefit of the normally optional BMW Service Inclusive service package, covering basic scheduled servicing such as annual vehicle checks, oil changes and labour costs, plus additional maintenance items such as brake pads, brake discs, worn clutches and windscreen wiper blades all over a period of three years or 60,000km.

BMW says the servicing offer represents $3171 of added value for BMW customers.

BMW Group Australia managing director Phil Horton says the offer stems from customers considering a vehicle's "whole-of-life-costs" more as part of their purchase decision.

"We understand that a premium purchase is an emotional decision but we are also making sure that owning a BMW stacks up from a rational point of view," he said.

The servicing offer only includes vehicles both ordered and delivered between the period between September 1 and October 31, 2012.
