Trident Iceni Grand Tourer: 1287Nm diesel-powered sports car

Incorporating Trident’s patented Torque Multiplication technology, the Iceni Grand Tourer's mid-front-mounted 6.6-litre turbo-diesel generates 316kW and 1287Nm of torque at under 3250rpm.

Capable of running on mineral diesel, bio diesel, palm oil and linseed oil, the Iceni Grand Tourer can sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of nearly 320km/h.

Thanks to its impressive diesel powerplant, the Iceni Grand Tourer can hold a constant 113km/h with the engine running at just 980rpm while still producing a significant – 948Nm – amount of torque. Under these conditions it uses just 4.1 litres of fuel per 100km, giving it a theoretical range of 3219km on a tank of diesel.

Built to order in Norfolk, England and priced from £75,000 ($113,200), an optional upgrade to 485kW and 1422Nm is also available.

The 2012 Salon Prive will run from September 5-7 at West London’s Syon Park.
