CarAdvice Comments – Code of Conduct

The CarAdvice Code of Conduct applies to all remarks left within the comments section of our articles.

Readers are reminded that they are entirely responsible for the content of the comments they post within our article's comments section and that any comments found to be in breach of the Code of Conduct will be removed or all of their content blocked from viewing by other users permanently.

Furthermore repeat offenders may be asked to refrain from future comment by CarAdvice moderators; be banned from the site; and/or face civil action under the Commonwealth Broadcasting Services Amendment (Online Services) Act of 1999.

All decisions are made at our discretion. Decisions are final and no further correspondence on the matter will be entered in to.

Please be advised that comments of the following and similar nature will be moderated with immediate effect:

  • Comments of a profane, offensive or prejudicial nature
  • Comments unrelated to the topic or theme of the article
  • Comments that are derogatory or that purposefully insult other reader's comments, the subject matter in question, manufacturers and/or CarAdvice staff
  • Comments that contain links to other websites

Comments that remain published do not necessarily reflect the opinion or approval of CarAdvice.
