Lexus LFA: Queensland owner wraps $700,000 supercar in chrome

With only 500 to ever be made and just 10 finding their way to Australia, the Lexus LFA already stands out from the crowd.

But one owner from Queensland has just ramped up the exclusivity meter to 11 by wrapping their $700,000 Japanese supercar from bumper to bumper in chrome.

Created by Melbourne-based wrapping company Exotic Graphix, the mirror-effect LFA was teased earlier this week ahead of its official public unveiling at this weekend’s MotorEx show in Sydney.

Sporting equally audacious ‘LFUKNA’ registration plates, LFA number 304 will shine at The Dome in Sydney Olympic Park alongside hundreds of other tuned, modified and highly collectible vehicles.

The work of more than a decade of development, the Lexus LFA launched in production form in October 2009 following its unveiling at the Tokyo motor show.

Each handmade LFA is powered by a 412kW/480Nm 4.8-litre V10 engine, which spins from idle to the 9000rpm redline in just six-tenths of a second, helping the supercar sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds and reach its top speed of 325km/h.
