Audi TT Coupe S line competition spec here next year
The Audi TT Coupe S line competition package combines elements of Audi's S line packages plus additions from the flagship Audi TT RS, and is set to hit Australian showrooms in the first half of 2013.
Available on both six-speed manual and six-speed dual-clutch S tronic models sporting Audi's 155kW/350Nm 2.0-litre TFSI motor, the competition package sees individual features come together for the first time to create a unique vehicle.
Exterior enhancements include specially designed bumpers front and rear, a distinctive gloss black rear diffuser insert and tailpipe surround, gloss black lip spoiler and radiator grille frame, and matt black radiator grille insert, licence plate frame and front fog light grille.
These are complimented by gloss black wing mirror covers, fixed rear TT RS spoiler and black TT RS 19-inch 'Rotor' design wheels. Xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights are also included adding to the competition package’s already purposeful look.
The individuality continues inside with special door sill trims, aluminium-look trim, piping-framed floor mats, sport seats and the leather multi-function flat-bottomed sports steering wheel pinched yet again from the TT RS.
The seats come standard in Fine Nappa leather with S line logos on the backrests. The car's matt brushed aluminium inlays are replaced by inlays finished in Samoa Orange - a new colour exclusive to the competition package – on orders where that exterior body colour is selected.
Other paint finishes available include Glacier White (metallic) and Daytona Grey (pearl effect) and Misano Red (pearl effect), both from the TT RS colour palette.
Details on prices for the Audi TT Coupe S line competition package will be released closer to the car’s launch next year.
