2007 Subaru Liberty & Outback NCAP Safety Rating
The 2007 Subaru Liberty (known as Legacy everywhere else in the world) and Outback have earned the highest possible five-star safety rating in front and offset crash testing in the States. The New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) conducted the tests.
“Subaru customers have come to expect the highest level of safety in their vehicles, both the Legacy and Outback continue to deliver the highest levels of active and passive safety as evidenced by their recent five star performances in the NHTSA NCAP tests.” said Thomas J. Doll, Executive Vice President, Subaru of America, Inc.
Don't worry, its not just Subaru's sold in the States that have such a good safety rating, but our Australian delivered Subarus such as the Forester, Liberty, Outback and Tribeca have a five-star crashworthiness rating for occupant safety from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP). Whilst the rally king, the Subaru Impreza has a high four-star rating.
