Mazda CX-5 explained (video)
With the Ford Kuga's Australian launch taking place today, Mazda Australia decided it was a good time to remind us what's coming out next week. The all new CX-5 SUV. Unlike the Kuga, the Mazda CX-5 is a brand new model full of brand new technologies. There's a lot to explain and Mazda is tightlipped about pricing, specification or variants. We know it will feature two new powertrains (diesel and petrol), be available in manual or auto and come in three different model grades.
However, behind all the facts and figure are the interesting details. This video explains the much discussed SkyActive technologies and the company's Kodo design philosophy. We were intrigued to find out that the next generation of Mazda vehicles are essentially styled on the idea of a "Cheetah in motion". Watch the video for more:
