The new Volvo V40 is expected to act as a replacement for the current S40 and V50. It will go head to head with models such as the Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series and likely sell alongside the current C30.

With Volvo renewing a series of its models over the next few years, its new entry into the small car segment is shaping up to be an exciting opportunity for the Swedish brand.
