Toyota Aygo Crazy 2008 London Motorshow

Hmm... the Toyota Aygo Crazy, not sure if it makes us go crazy, but it certainly looks like a lot of fun.

Although Toyota has no intentions of building this car (why not?), the company says the concept is actually "built to be driven, (and) not just for show".

Sitting underneath the bonnet, actually, sitting in the rear of the vehicle is a 1.8-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces an enormous 147kW (200hp) @ 6700rpm while peak torque of 240Nm @ 3400rpm. Not bad for such a tiny car!

The car is driven via the rear-wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Why Toyota would make a car this good, then decide not to build it is truly confusing.
