India-based Design House SJ presents first Concept
These days, the hotbeds of automotive design are found in Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States. India, despite its huge population and manufacturing prowess, probably isn’t a key destination that car manufacturers would consider for their next new car design.
That’s all about to change with the advent of new India-based design firms like SJ Design who have presented images of their first concept car; a 2+2 coupe with a TDI powertrain.
Founded just two years ago, SJ Design aims to be the first of it’s kind in India and their concept known simply as SJ1 may well spark an exciting new industry in the region.
SJ1 is a 2+2 coupe GT with a 1.9TDI engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission driving the front wheels.
It will be interesting to follow the progress of this concept and who, if anyone will buy it.
