It’s a formidable machine, the Porsche GT2 RS, and one that produces around 620hp. It can also be a handful to drive.
US publication Motortrend has produced a fantastic video outlining how and why the GT2 RS is able to corner so quickly. Using telemetry and sensors placed on the car, you can see in slow motion the different forces at work, and why some people prefer a rear-mounted engine over a front-mounted one. If you have a few minutes spare, it’s well worth your time to sit down and enjoy great engineering in motion.
