This is behind the cheaper, and arguably more involving Porsche GT2 RS, which posted a 7:24 despite being slower to 100km/h, although the Porsche is lighter.
Given the way the MP4-12C tackled the Dunsfold Aerodrome in Top Gear's review, many would have expected a faster 'Ring time, especially in light of the Lexus LFA's time posted a few weeks ago of 7:14.
