Subaru BRZ Spy Photos

The highly anticipated Subaru BRZ has been caught testing once again, this time revealing a little more than before.

The rear-wheel drive Subaru sports coupe, which shares its platform and developement with the Toyota FT-86, is expected to be powered by a naturally aspirated boxer engine, with potential for a new direct-injection system as well.

Although we love our rear-wheel drive naturally aspirated sports car, we have a soft spot for force-fed Subarus, so we certainly hope the BRZ has access to EJ25 engines from the Impreza WRX and STI.

Subaru Australia is still to decide if it will bring the rear-wheel drive BRZ to Australia, which would signal a deviation from its current "AWD-only" lineup. More here.
