2007 BMW 3 Series Convertible Pricing & Specifications

BMW has announced the pricing structure for the 2007 BMW 3 Series Convertible. The 3 Series convertible will be available from March 24 and the range starts with the 325i priced at $94,900 with a six-speed manual transmission.

The following is the full price listing for the models available on launch. There is still no word on the M3.

Being BMW, safety was top of the agenda, and the base model comes standard with safety systems including

Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) which incorporates DTC Dynamic Traction Control,

CBC Cornering Brake Control

DBC Dynamic Brake Control,

Dual front airbags and front seat integrated side airbags with combined head airbags complete the passive safety list.

For $100,000 on road, what exactly powers the base model BMW Convertible? A 2.5-litre magnesium aluminium straight-six engine, which produces 160 kW of power at 6,500 rpm and 250 Nm of torque between 2,750 rpm and 4,000 rpm. The 325i Convertible accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds. Of course if you want the six-speed Steptronic Automatic transmission, add another $2,600 to bring the price up to $97,500.

Moving up to the 335i convertible, the vehicle will be available in both six-speed manual ($121,500) and six-speed automatic transmission $124,100. The 335i puts out around 225 kW at 5,800 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 1,300 rpm and 5,000 rpm, the 335i enters the performance sports category with a 0-100 km/h time of just 5.8 seconds. And it does this with a fuel economy of just 9.9-litres per 100 km...eat your heart out Toyota!

So on top of all the features in the 325i, the 335i Convertible standard specification include:
