Video: Ferrari Enzo crashes into the ocean

You know how it is. You're driving a race car, a Ferrari race car, and then suddenly you hit a patch of dirt and somehow you end up swimming in the ocean. All in a matter of seconds. Sounds like a bad dream. For Zahir Rana and co-driver Roland Linder, it was reality as they crashed their Ferrari Enzo at a recent Targa Newfoundland event.

As you will see in the video below, which captured the crash as it happened, the Ferrari Enzo came around a corner and down into a patch of dirty tarmac. The Enzo then went into a slide, smashed through a small railing and down into the ocean.

The Ferrari Enzo doesn't appear to be too damaged structurally by the accident, but all that salt water through the cabin and into the electrics will not be good for it. In fact, it'll likely need a complete overhaul.

Owner and driver Zahir Rana didn't seem too upset after the crash however, saying he and his co-driver are thankful they weren't injured. Take a look at the video below to see how it all happened.
