EV Profiler car accessory tells you whether or not to buy an electric vehicle

If you're curious as to whether or not you should buy an electric vehicle and are not sure whether one would work effectively in your lifestyle, a new gadget called the EV Profiler could give you the advice you need to either retract or go ahead with making an EV purchase.

It sounds rather gimmicky, but the accessory plugs into your cigarette lighter slot and measures how far you travel on a daily basis. If you travel more than 160km for example, the EV Profiler will take that into account and log it into a file that is complied online.

The EV Profiler takes into account your driving habits, common terrains and hilly sections that you cover and how often you travel on highways during your daily commute.

It can also take into account how often you could recharge your EV, whether it be every night or only once you arrive at work. Calculations are then made against the current crop of EVs available on the market after beaming the data online.

A full report of your driving habits is sent to you at 7pm every night, and shows various details and comparisons of your driving behaviour. The report can advise you whether or not an EV would suit your lifestyle, even separating different vehicles currently on the market that would best suit you.

The EV Profiler could help motorists adapt to or get over range anxiety often associated with electric vehicles, and give drivers a chance to see if an electric vehicle would be the best option for them.

The EV Profiler is available for rent for around $25 per week. For more information head to www.123evp.com.
