Porsche 929 renderings

Julliana Cho, a student from the Royal College of Art in London, has come up with an interesting set of renderings of a what she calls a Porsche 929. Taking inspiration from the Porsche 918 Spyder concept, it showcases unique reverse-swinging scissor doors and a very futuristic coupe shape.

The Porsche 929 takes on a very aggressive stance. From the front, there is a slight resemblance to the current Porsche Panamera, with a flat nose and a similar headlight design. The bonnet also showcases an interesting heat-extracting vent along the middle edge, like a race car.

From the the side, Cho has given the coupe a distinct hourglass waist with pumped out wheel arches. There's also air intakes placed traditionally behind the side windows, while a deep cutaway in between the front and rear wheels provides heat extraction for the front and an intake for the rear brakes.

The back of the concept takes on a sharp design approach, with panel extensions coming off each of the major contours to give the impression the body was designed by wind streaming over the car.

It's quite a stunning concept, one that Porsche could adopt for a possible reintroduction of the Porsche 928 four-seat coupe. What do you think?
