Arrinera Automotive has revealed details of a prototype which is generally regarded as the first ever Polish supercar. Simply called the Arrinera, it features an exotic Lamborghini-esque body and a powerful mid-mounted V8 engine.
The chassis is made from a tubular steel space frame that is covered in carbon fibre and Kevlar body panels. The overall design exudes all the athleticism of a modern supercar, with an extremely low profile and roofline.
The front end exhibits a pointed nose that flares up to an aggressive rear end. From the back it starts to get a bit futuristic, showcasing sharp lines and plenty of venting.
In the back, nestled behind the cabin, sits a 6.2-litre supercharged General Motors V8 engine which is also seen in the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. It produces 477kW of power and 819Nm of torque.
No word has been mentioned on if or when the Arrinera will hit the market, or at what price. Performance figures are also yet to be finalised.
In the meantime, feel free to tell us what you think it. Would you buy an Arrinera if it were available at a reasonable price? Or is it too much of a Lamborghini copy? Give us your thoughts in the comments section below.
