Video: Corvette ZR1 top speed run

Earlier this week General Motors announced the official power output of its Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 supercar, and has now showcased the cars unofficial top speed of 330km/h in this amazing video.

An engine eagerly speculated to feature in the HSV line-up sometime in the not too distant future, the LS9 powerplant is a 6.2L supercharged V8 producing 476kW and 819Nm.

This makes it GM's most powerful engine - ever, and is hand built by specially trained technicians at GM’s Performance Build Center in Wixom, Michigan alongside HSV's LS7 engine for the W427.
