Chevrolet has used the weekend's Indy 500 event to unveil a special edition celebratory Camaro. It's called the Chevrolet Camaro 45th Anniversary Edition and it comes with an array of interior revisions as well as some mechanical enhancements.
Most of the limited edition changes are found inside the Camaro. There's loads of soft-touch surfaces around the cabin and on the dash, a new more user-friendly steering wheel, a revised instrument panel layout, and Jet Black leather with red, white and blue stitching.
There's a pair of distinct stripes which run over the outside of the car to give it that racy look. Unique badges and logos are also spread across the vehicle, including embroided ones on the leather seats and logos on the side behind the front wheels.
Unique 20-inch alloy wheels also set the car apart. They are supported by an FE4 sports suspension package, which includes solid front and rear sway bars and revised suspension geometry to provide a more responsive chassis and improved handling.
The Chevrolet Camaro 45th Anniversary Edition will be available in both coupe and convertible. Chevrolet has said it is building the cars to order, so there's no official limited run of the vehicles.
