It’s the coolest little car on the planet and anything original from the Italian fashion house, is still regarded as a sought after item.
So who better to promote this wonderful brand connection than one of the world’s top models of the decade, than Russian beauty Natalya Sergeyevna Polevshchikova (Natasha Poly).
The campaign was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Rome, and conceived by Giannini, with Poly wearing a Gucci one-of-a-kind black leather garment.
The car has essentially been customised by Gucci's Creative Director Frida Giannini and features a two-tone black and white interior, or white exterior with Satin Chrome and black interior. It all sounds very 'Gucci' but no doubt those buyers looking to make a more individual statement with their car will love it.
The ad’s creators say that,
“Poly embodies the essence of travelling in style and living life at full speed”
The 500 by Gucci will be presented as part of an exclusive preview in cities such as Paris, London and Tokyo before the June release of the car in Europe, while the rest of the world will have to wait until the end of 2011.
Italian pricing for the car has been set at EUR17,000 including all taxes.
