2030 Mercedes-Benz Aria Concept design study
The Mercedes-Benz Aria Concept was designed by Munich University of Applied Sciences student, Slavche Tanevski, under the watchful eyes of key Mercedes-Benz designers.
Featuring a long, extravagant and very elegant body, the Aria Concept is said to exhibit a blend of modern automotive design with traditional Mercedes-Benz philosophy. There are also elements of traditional art incorporated into the body.
From the front, it's said to showcase a modern Mercedes-Benz front fascia area, with its triangular-shape nose. Along the side is said to represent a blend of the female 'hourglass' shape and, according to the designer, inspiration taken from the traditional Coke bottle.
The hips, on the other hand, hark back to classic Mercedes-Benz design. It features long and curvaceous rear wheel arches like those found on the Mercedes 500K Specialroadster of the 1930s.
Since the study does have a proposed model year of 2030, the Aria uses an electric-only powertrain. Take a look at the video below for more images of the elegant coupe.
The car will remain a concept-only study for the time being.
