2011 Nissan 370Z GT Edition on sale in the UK
The 2011 Nissan 370Z GT Edition has been launched to celebrate 40 years of ‘Z’ cars in the UK.
The GT Edition has been inspired by Nissan’s success in GT racing around the world, including Japan’s Super GT, the GT1 World Championship, the FIA GT4 European Cup and numerous 24-hour races, including the world-famous event at the Nurburgring.
The special edition race-themed coupe will feature visual enhancements as well as revisions to the suspension and standard equipment.
On the outside, it will be available in three special paint colours and will come with 19-inch dark alloy wheels and side stripes, inspired by the original Z cars of the 1970s.
The key change to the suspension setup is the retuned dampers, which have been revised to provide a better balance of ride comfort and high-speed handling.
Inside, the 370Z GT Edition benefits from a rear view parking camera, Premium Connect satellite navigation system and a tyre pressure monitor.
The optional seven-speed automatic transmission also comes with ‘snow mode’, which controls engine revs to prevent wheel spin on slippery surfaces.
Finally, overall refinement is enhanced thanks to improved underbody insulation, decreasing road noise.
The 2011 Nissan 370Z GT Edition will be available from select Nissan UK dealers from June 1 with prices starting from £35,000 ($53,240).
