Even before the release of its halo car - the Genesis Coupe - Hyundai has experienced outstanding growth both in Australia and worldwide.

There were 712,529 Hyundai's sold worldwide in the first quarter of 2008 - the best on record.

In Australia, a total of 4,193 units were registered in March alone, which included 1,019 i30’s, 68 iMax shuttles and 161 iLoad vans.

In Korea, 7,982 units of the Genesis luxury sports sedan were delivered, however customers now face a two-month wait for delivery as the manufacturer clears a backlog of orders.
