Jeep Wrangler Renegade and Pork Chop concept teasers

Jeep has released early teaser previews of a couple of new Wranglers it plans to unveil at the 45th annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari in Utah, US. A total of six new concepts will also be unveiled at the show alongside these two, the Jeep Wrangler Renegade and the Jeep Wrangler Pork Chop.

The two concept previews were not attached to any specific details unfortunately, however, the images suggest Jeep is serious about accommodating for the true rough and ready off-road enthusiast.

The Jeep Wrangler Renegade looks as though it's more of a cosmetic showcase compared with the Pork Chop. It features 'Renegade' decals and old-school five-spoke wheels. There's also a rather large bulge pressed up in the middle of the bonnet, this could hint a possible V8 powerplant underneath.

At the extreme end of Wrangler off-road enthusiasm, the Pork Chop looks like it's a much more focused tool. It gets a full roll cage with obvious rollover bars making up the majority of the upper body structure.

There's also no doors for easy access for the driver and passenger, handy for those times when winches need to be connected and disconnected. The Pork Chop also features no bumper bars for minimal overhang front and rear for superior approach and departure angles.

As mentioned, the cars will be unveiled in full detail at the 45th annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. The show runs from April 16 to 24.
