Sydney’s historic Customs House was trashed by four racing cars last night, but thanks to the magic of 3D projection mapping, today it looks as good as new.
Circular Quay played host to the Hot Wheels Secret Race Battle on Thursday, which used 3D projection technology to display a three-minute race on the façade of the building.
It looks computer-generated in the YouTube clip, but all the effects in the video were projected onto Customs House.
Digital advertising agency Muse Amsterdam was behind the Hot Wheels Skull Racers sound and light show for what was a one-night-only affair.
