2011 Subaru Outback Touring special edition

Subaru has just announced a new special edition Outback offering a number of additional accessories and options free of charge. It's called the Subaru Outback Touring.

The Subaru Outback is already a great car, providing plenty of features, renowned Subaru reliability and a capable all-wheel drive system matched with a comfortable ride height. The Outback Touring extends those characteristics even further.

Subaru is offering the car with a number of accessories perfect for that weekend getaway, including a towbar and roof crossbars to ensure you don't forget anything on your next trip. The package also includes an additional 12-volt power socket in the rear luggage compartment which can be used to power various 12-volt accessories. Subaru is also throwing in a 14-litre travel fridge which can be plugged into the socket to get you started.

Other features include a first-aid kit, carpet mats, a picnic rug, four travel water bottles, a couple of Subaru polo shirts and a rear step panel and cargo tray. The Touring is also fitted with the normally-optional reverse parking sensors as standard.

All these accessories sum up to a total value of $3360, but with the Touring special edition, it's all included in the package.

Speaking of charges, Subaru Australia is offering the 2011 Subaru Outback Touring 2.5i in manual for $42,990 (Recommended Driveaway Price), and $44,990 (Recommended Driveaway Price) for the 2011 Subaru Outback Touring with CVT (constantly variable automatic transmission).
