2011 Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato at Geneva
Fiat and Italian design specialist, Zagato, have unveiled their new Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland. The Coupe features a trimmed-down two-door layout with all-new body styling.
The special edition was created by none-other-than Zagato who developed an original model of the first Fiat 500 of the Fifties. It features a bespoke two-door layout that uses a completely redesigned rear quarter panel with bulged-out wheel arches, and a new bumper bar layout with integrated diffuser.
The Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato also features the traditional Zagato 'double-bubble' roofline that has always been used on Zagato specials, ranging from Ferraris to Aston Martins. It may not look like it, but the Coupe Zagato is laid out in 2+2 seat fashion, meaning there is room in the back for passengers - although, headroom and legroom would be reduced somewhat from the standard Fiat 500 model.
Underneath the bonnet of the Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato sits the TwinAir two-cylinder engine offering 78kW of power and 155Nm of torque. This award-winning engine is able to achieve excellent fuel economy and outputs low emission figures of just 95gm of CO2 per kilometre.
The Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato is also fitted with bespoke 17 inch alloy wheels and features reupholstered 'Zagato' interior incorporating diamond-stitched leather seats and contrasting black and yellow chamois details throughout.
