Video: 2011 Peugeot 508 GT wagon review

The guys from Autocar in the UK has just finished road testing the brand new 2011 Peugeot 508 GT wagon. The car tested is the sports 'GT' version which, and despite the fact that it uses a 152kW 2.0-litre diesel engine, seems to offer a good overall active driving experience.

Autocar goes on to explain that the GT version comes with a unique suspension upgrade over the standard model, explaining that the standard models are equipped with a MacPherson strut layout for the front, whereas the GT version gets a double wishbone setup - a layout more inclined to offer sporty driving dynamics.

The review praises the 508's simplicity, too, with its rather uninteresting but very practical and high quality interior.

The car is also praised because even though it is a 'sports' version, it doesn't come with any adjustable suspension features - which can become confusing, it's a car that you simply get in and drive and it will offer its best.
