When you have a deep impression of some sort when you're a young boy it stays with you for the rest of your life. So I said to myself, that's what I want to do when I grow up. I want to build a car. No other super-car offered the performance and usability that the Koenigsegg does. After driving twelve of the most extraordinary cars on the planet, we've saved the best to last.
This is the Koenigsegg CCX. With only 71 Koenigseggs in the world today, this is one of the rarest cars you will ever ever see. I've spent the last two minutes trying to work out the start this car, and the guy from Koenigsegg came round and gave me this. Can you believe this is the key? You know the price of the Koenigsegg, I was a sparse interior, but now that I'm sit thing in it.
It's generally one of the quickest cars in the world, but it is actually luxurious as well. We can compete with the best track cars on the track. For lap times, for feeling, for performance. But at the same time we can compete with Bugatti Veyron for top speed. Our engine produces over 1,000 horse power from the 4.8 liter displacement.
It's very highly tuned. We're very happy with what the car looks like, and it's got its unique shape that, from my point of view, is quite timeless. With our pedal shift system wheel for electronic detention and a shift time of 30 milliseconds. So it's not the dual clutch system but it's virtually as fast but much lighter and simpler package.
There's only a few guys in the world that know how to balance that doors when they open like this. The car is actually, with the roof on, it's really a Coupe. It's not a giveaway that you can take it off, even. You can't even see from the outside of it It's detachable. And then you can put it in the large luggage space in the front, and suddenly you have a real convertible.
It's not a target top because it's much bigger than a target. You get a really open convertible feeling . We have customers in Australia, South Africa, America, Sweden, Norway, pretty much all over the world. Mostly male customers but we also have female customers which I'm very proud of.
