Hi, I'm Alborz Fallah from CarAdvice.com.au, and today I'm driving one of the very first right hand drive Chevrolet Camaros in the world. The Camaro we're driving today comes from none other than Australia's leading American car specialist, Performax International, located out in Ginty, Cleveland.

The company has been operating since 1989, and offers a wide range of exclusive vehicles to the Australian market from Chevrolet pickup trucks to Corvettes, Mustangs, and of course, the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. The new Camaro is the pinacle of a modern American muscle car. It's powered by a 6.2 liter V8, that produces 318 kilowatts, and 569 newton/meters of torque.

That means it'll go from zero to a hundred in about five seconds. But I tell you what, enough about the figures. Lets get behind the wheel and see what this thing is really made of . The most familiar aspect of the new Camaro is the engine sound the same LS3 V8 out of the car edge of this. You know what?

Have a listen. When it comes to American muscle cars, handling has never been a strong point but the Camaro is a bit of a surprise. You know why? Because it actually goes around corners. for those who are wondering, yes, it does cost about 140,000 Australian dollars. And that does sound quite expensive, but I tell you what, it's worth every penny.
