Mazda Mazda6 Review

Car Advice

The Mazda6 is like any other Mazda we've driven this year. Quality fit and finish, great ride and handling, superb steering superb cornering ability and really really good ergonomics. Mid-sized cars are almost a forgotten segment in Australia but really there is some top quality product in the segment.

Mazda6 being one of them. There really is a lot of space in the Mazda6. Tons of headroom, legroom, and of course boot. Within the Mazda6 range you can have a sedan, a wagon and a hatch. And, of course, you can have a petrol and a diesel engine. Now the diesel engine is makes exceptionally good power plant, unfortunately it only comes in a manual transmission.

It's a bit of a sleeper the Mazda6, you can use it for everyday errands and shopping and when you want to have nice drive it really does perform very well indeed. Like almost every Mazda on the market, the Mazda 6 is let down by odd plastics on the dash. It just doesn't give you that premium feel that it really deserves.

You want a medium car you're spoiled for choice in this segment Honda Accord Euro, Ford Mondeo, Volkswagon Passat and Suburu Liberty, they're all great cars.
