maximum tell us a little bit about yourself and your background in car design. coming from Italy originally. So I was born and raised in Europe and Italy. That's where I have my education as a car That's what i had my first experience in berth owner.And how was being in the last five year working at the green company like Kia and evolving brand that has come so far now.
What's the experience been for you? Designing cars for KIA has been very satisfying for me. It has been a very successful time So far, I've been fortunate to be part of this redesigning starting from the first concept the Kue in 2007 which kind of influenced a lot of our cars on the road today so it's been a very influential part on my side, which makes me proud of the work that I have Man1:...personally and we have done as a studio.
Man2: And what's the precious on someone like you designing a car like the Rio, a car produced for the mass market, a very popular segment. So how's that... designing the Kia Rio is was very challenging as any b segment car because it's a very big segment, a very popular segment, so it's a dedicated product for the brand.
At the same time Working with the smaller proportions is some how more challenging.Especially for the direction that we wanted to go for the new Rio which is a very compact and sporty-looking the segment car. So again its very challenging but its also very revolting again when you can see the final results.
Now with the Rio out and the Sportage out, and the Kia brand evolving so much, what do you think the future holds for Kia design and Kia in general? Kia has a lot of new products coming. We are working really hard on several new projects. There are cars that will be redesigned so it's like a new cycle coming.
There will be new models so it's going to be very exciting.
That's very good to hear. But, if you had one car that you really wanted to design. Something that really inspired you, what do you think that would be for Kia?
My dream car, and i think for a lot of people that are following Kia right now, would be a true sports car. Meaning a two seater, rear wheel drive, sports coupe.
