Gumpert Apollo Sport annihilates Nurburgring

On August 13, the Gumpert Apollo Sport became the undisputed king of the infamous Nordschliefe track at the Nurburgring in Germany.
That was when 26 year old German driver Florian Gruber, completed the 22.87 kilometre lap in seven minutes 11.57 seconds.

German sports car maker, Porsche, will be merged into the Volkswagen group of companies following an all-night board meeting that sealed the fate of the company.
Volkswagen chairman Ferdinand Piech tightened his grip over Porsche on Thursday after the company’s chief executive was ousted following a power struggle to keep Porsche independent.

Nissan’s chief engineer Kazutoshi Mizuno has confirmed that another high performance version of the GT-R is in the pipeline for future production.
During track testings for the newly released GT-R SpecV, Mr Mizuno explained that a more powerful, performance-honed GT-R is in development for release to the public.
