Victoria Police ‘hoon’ blitz starts tonight

Victoria Police will tonight launch the second stage of Operation Ardent, a major road blitz aimed at dangerous driving across the state.

The operation, which will continue through until Sunday, will see police target specific trouble spots focusing on so-called ‘hoon’ driving as well as speeding, dangerous driving, drug and drink driving offences.

NSW’S $7million speed camera!

It will probably get a pat on the back from the New South Wales Government, it certainly won’t win any kudos from motorists, but one speed camera in suburban Sydney has raised $7million in revenue in a year.

BMW driver training goes to school

In an effort to create greater initiative for safety on our roads BMW Driver Training has joined forces with Melbourne’s Scotch College in a pilot program that aims to bring a higher level of driver education to next-generation road users.

Ferrari California nabbed at 231km/h; impounded

A new Ferrari California, said to be one of only two in Australia, has been impounded by police after a Perth-based motoring journalist was caught travelling at 231km/h through the West Australian wheatbelt.
