BMW’s latest two door sports car, the brand new 6 Series, has arrived down under in convertible form, with the launch this week of the 650i Convertible.

Although we've spied the upcoming BMW 6 Series Convertible on a number of occasions now, it wasn't until this morning that our spy photographers snapped these images of the BMW 6 Series Coupe.
Here are the most revealing spy photos yet of the new BMW 6 Series cabriolet. For the first time we see the front kidney grill outlines and shape of the new headlights. This prototype also has the real taillights fitted.

Having started life in Australia in 2004, the BMW 6 Series is the sort of car that stops traffic as it drives by. The 645CI was the first to land, powered by a 4.4-litre V8 with 245kW of power. The model was superseded by the 650i in late 2005.
