So, where did you go on your date?

We were both keen to get a little rough and wild, so we headed out to the sealed and gravel roads around Victoria's Yarra Ranges for a good time.

Ideal first date?

An action and excitement packed one night stand doing things you'd tell your friends about but never your parents...

Hot or not?

Strong, athletic and not there to muck around, the Subaru WRX STI is most definitely hot.

It's what's inside that counts, what do you think of the interior?

If there's a sore point it's here. 'Premium', 'high-end', 'classy', these are all words you wouldn't much use to describe this particular package. The point here is purpose, so let's not dwell on it too much.

Standout features?

Not shy of stretching its legs or showing off its large 'accessories', the STI has an innate ability to get from point A to point B quicker than a cashed up girl at Chadstone can find a shoe sale.

Annoying habits?

Occasionally you're reminded that its impressive skills aren't matched by the same levels of smarts or intuition (read: tech is clunky).

Ready for a family?

Firm and a little standoffish initially, the youngens will either love it or hate it. Accommodating of more than two is also a bonus.

High maintenance?

You should be able to keep it happy for the first three years for between $294.07 and $579.62 every six months, plus there's a free health check and chat one month in. So not bad.

Any deal-breakers?

I'm not sure I could keep up with its pace day-in day-out but it'd sure be fun trying to find out…

So, is it serious or just a one night stand?

Provided I can prioritise enough ‘us’ time to keep us both happy, there’s no reason why this couldn’t be a long-term thing. Either way, we’d be sure to have a blast together getting up to much mischief.

Keeping your options open?

As much fun as I had, I think we should take things slow for a while and see if this passion goes deeper than just the excitement of going fast.

If it's not for you, who would you recommend it to?

I’m not bailing on us just yet, but perhaps some hot single guy with a penchant for running late and cruising Chapel Street will roll in and sweep you off your feet before trying to change how you look and feel and sound and perform...
