2012 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF 118 TSI COMFORTLINE REVIEW
A quiet, superbly economical long-distance cruiser with seats providing all-day comfort, this car shows how careful development can produce a small car suitable both for country and town.
There is no magic here: engineering makes the difference.
2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO REVIEW
The Jeep Grand Cherokee cannot be driven on dusty roads, therefore as an "off-road 4WD" it doesn't suit what we bought it for. We do not drive it with the windows open.
We are now selling it. It's a disgrace that they are still being advertised as an off-road 4wd, don't know of many "off-roads" that are bitumen.
2013 NISSAN NAVARA ST-X 550 REVIEW
The ST-X 550 Blackline: looked at one liked it now own one.
Plastic interior is a bit so-so. Generaly a nice vehicle, however I dont understand why in this day and age auto manufacturers produce mid price range vehicles with drum brakes. I would think 4xdisc would inprove its braking power.
2011 HYUNDAI i30 cw SX 1.6 CRDi REVIEW
Having driven wife's 2010 diesel 5 spd manual hatch I waited for 2011 wagon upgrade with 6 spd manual and bluetooth.
Excellent family car, we fit 2 adult kids and a large dog and tow a cage trailer. Great economy, very well appointed for the base model and super reliable. Comfy on long trip and surprisingly good to drive.
Gutsy for a 1.
2006 BMW X5 3.0d REVIEW
I waited most of my life to be able to have this driving experience. Comfort goes hand in hand with manoeuvrability, performance and style.
As a woman I feel great safety and confidence with handling and driving this car, especially in the dirt.
2009 BMW 1 25i REVIEW
I have recently sold my 125i, and to date it has been the best car I have owned.
When I bought it new in 2009 I was looking for an affordable, small rear-wheel drive car.
I didn't want a convertible, which ruled out the MX-5, so I was left with the option of either the 125i or a Mazda RX-8.
2011 VOLVO S60 T4 REVIEW
Ok. I have rated this car pretty high. But you need to understand I looked for a car to fit my purpose. This one came top.
Price: For the base model (T4) which I bought, the value is mind boggling. About the only thing I really wanted that didn't come standard was the navigation.
2012 HYUNDAI iX35 ELITE (AWD) REVIEW
I own a 2012 model, after waiting 4 months for delivery because of my colour choice.
The two things I find annoying are the front pillars are to wide, I find myself trying to duck and weave to look around it at intersections. Also the radio doesn't tune in properly (it's very staticy), but it will be going back to the dealer to rectify this...
2012 HONDA ACCORD VTi LIMITED EDITION REVIEW
Extremely uncomfortable front seats - like concrete blocs. Also, design issue – the back part dips too low and there is no sufficient lumbar support. There are many drivers’ complaints on the internet about this problem with Honda Accord. The seat caused me so much back pain I had to sell the car back to the dealer at great financial loss.
2002 HONDA ACCORD VTi-L REVIEW
I traded my 2007 Honda Jazz down to one of these as it was simply too small for a growing family, plus my wife only has an automatic license.
For a used buy, a sixth generation Accord (98-02) represents fantastic value. The VTi-L in my opinion is the pick.
2012 HOLDEN CRUZE SRi V REVIEW
This vehicle is packed full of features and has a 5 Star safety rating, however it is a little disappointing that Holden dropped some of the standard safety features that are available in the United States LTZ version, their SRi-V equivalent.
The Infotainment sound system in the MY12 and MY13 SRi-V continues to have low level hiss in the...
2011 HYUNDAI ACCENT ACTIVE REVIEW
I have a Hyundai Accent Diesel.
The ESP off light has come on - the garage is unable to fix it. I never know if the safety feature is one or off. This is a problem to me when I travel on the highway.
Otherwise I am happy with the car.
2012 SUBARU XV 2.0i-S REVIEW
Had my white pearl XV since 1/12 and have not been disappointed apart from expected standard features eg auto dim mirror, rain sensing wipers.
Love the CVT and not short on power for me unless down low. Beautiful ride and excellent economy (came down from a Forester XT Premium). Has a lot of B's and W's but lacks some that I'd use.
2012 SKODA YETI 103 TDI REVIEW
Character, fun to drive, superbly built, engagingly clever design, supremely practical.
After 40 years of magic carpet Citroen ride - the charactered, charm, fun & practicality tempted me into Yeti land.
Very pleased with my purchase after 500 kms in my first week.
2007 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER LS REVIEW
The drive in both city and country is very comfortable. Storage is spacious for camping gear and sundries. Find it a bit thirsty on country trips.
The fuel gauge is very unreliable which is very unsettling on country trips. Suttons say this is a Mitsubishi fault and can't be fixed. I tend to think it is a computer fault and can be fixed.
2013 NISSAN X-TRAIL ST REVIEW
It may not be the best looking compact SUV out there. But it is it has lots of room, beautiful to drive and is value for money.
On the highway it averages 8.6 litres for 100km, in town driving it is averaging about 9.5 litres every 100 km.
The engine is very quiet even when travelling on the highway at 100km.
