Having owned over 45 cars and having built many of them, its a constant amazement to me that factories have come to produce such amazing performance in a family sedan. Having owned since new, the Rspec has been flawless and remains the ‘one to have’ in my eyes. The HERO colouring set up remains iconic for a GT, and the Piano Black interior stunning to look at.

The constant search over the years for the ‘right GT’ to spend my hard earned on has been settled. I’m aware of the comments about taxi interior in standard models, but the Rspec (with piano black accents everwhere) is a step away that is not seen even in the last GT-F. Performance is mind numbing and handling superb for its intended purpose, but road ride may be a little on the harsh side for some.

In relation to performance, the Rspec has been verified on a number of ocassions to complete the 0-100 in 4.5 sec’s, which is a fair return for investment, and stunning to feel.

No looking back, and no wanting for a replacement, this limited edition (only 175 in HERO colours) has ticked all the boxes I couldnt tick with any car before it – including other GT’s. I’m sure it will have its own place in history as time passes.
