Let me put it this way, with 179kW of power and fuel economy of just 8.1L/100km, my four-cylinder Falcon still has plenty of pull but far better fuel economy compared with the V6. And yes, it runs on unleaded petrol.

After always being a Toyota person, I drove one, and now I have one.

It’s very reliable, full of great technology and safety features and is also one of the world’s best-handling and ‘fun-to-drive’ sedans.

A nice, spacious interior, a huge boot and cheap running and servicing costs also make it hard to ignore.

Drive it and you won’t regret it.
