OWNER RATING 10 /10

Picked up my new Fluence on Friday and could not be happier. Renault offered a 5 year warranty, 5 year road-side assist and 3 year free servicing.

I also got a nice discount on the model, despite it being factory new.

It handles very well and has a good amount of power. The CVT is smooth and quiet. The interior is lovely, the leather is top notch and the switch-gear feels very high end. The only minor complaint I have is that the integrated Tom Tom sat nav is controlled by a small remote which sits in a little holder in one of the cup holders. That can all be easily put away till needed, it is just odd.

Boot space is ample and there is good room in the back. The level of equipment that comes as standard on the base model, let alone our higher spec one is amazing.

For $33K drive-away we got metallic paint, leather, sunroof, sat nav, reversing sensors, fog lights, smart key (which works so well), stylish alloys, dual zone climate control, electrically fold-in side mirrors, auto-dimming rear view mirror, rain sensing wipers and dusk sensing lights, plus the rest you would expect like high end stereo, trip computer, cruise control etc etc.
