2011 HONDA ACCORD EURO
When my previous car, a 3 and a half year old Volkswagen Jetta was suddenly written off, I needed a replacement.
- Design, comfort, performance and handlong, quality, drive ability
- Rear legroom, boot design
Considered another Jetta and Golf, but after having issues, decided to have a change. Looked at a fully loaded Toyota Corolla Ultima, which did not feel completely right, and Mazda 6 ... which I did not fall in love with.
Then went to Honda and fell in love with the Euro.
Loved the styling of the current model, as well as the previous model, found it very comfortable, and beautiful to drive, so bought it immediately.
Out of 7 cars I have bought, all brand new, this is the best, as it has done over 23,000 kilometers with no issues at all.
It is quiet, nippy, reasonably ecomomical, and very smooth.
It didn't come with as many features as the Jetta, though. I have the base model in automatic, and the only options are reverse sensors and Buran Silver metallic paint.
Rear legroom is limited because of the huge but very comfortable seats, and boot space is taken up by the enormous alloy spare wheel (17 inches).
Overall, my first Honda product, and first Japaneese product, and could not be happier. Very highly regarded, and 100 per cent recommended.
