As the owner of an XR5 Mondeo I was tempted by its numerous features, exterior appeal and large size.

Although it is classed as a “medium” sized car I find that it actually handles more luggage than a Commodore or Falcon.

The gadgets are practical and therefore useful for every day use. They include bluetooth, voice control, automatic opening and closing of the windows (especially in our hot Qld. sun), automatic headlights, great sound system and comfortable seats.

Considering the car is a 5 cylinder turbocharged vehicle I constantly achieve arround 7.8L/100km.

It has lots of power for our city and highway driving and is not costly to run i.e. car servicing, fuel costs etc.

If you enjoy the sensation of driving a manual car with a fantastic gearbox resulting in smooth gear changes then this is the car to buy.
