2007 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER LS
The drive in both city and country is very comfortable. Storage is spacious for camping gear and sundries. Find it a bit thirsty on country trips.
- The ride on country trips is very good and acceleration when needed is positive, handling is direct, shifting to 4wd drive is easy
- Fuel guage is erratic, moulding on windscreen pops up when driving in excess of 100kph, clock display is very difficult to see
The fuel gauge is very unreliable which is very unsettling on country trips. Suttons say this is a Mitsubishi fault and can't be fixed. I tend to think it is a computer fault and can be fixed.
The molding on the windscreen popping up at 100kph was a bit alarming - thought the windscreen might pop out. Mitsubishi and Suttons (from whom the vehicle was purchased and previously a Mitsubishi management vehicle) deny any responsibility ... latterly Mitsubishi said they would pay half, but I regard it as no fault of mine and the cost should be borne by them.
