Toyota Verso at Geneva Motor Show

Toyota is launching a production version of the redesigned Corolla Verso medium minivan, which originally launched in 2004, at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
The new version, based on the new Avensis platform, will do without the “Corolla” part of its name, and will simply be called Verso.

The Duster, partly designed by Renault, is Dacia’s first concept car and is on show as a centre piece of the Dacia stand at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
The concept aims to merge sporty coupe styling on the exterior with the robust and spacious interior characteristics at the core of the Dacia brand.

The Nissan NV200 is an all-new passenger vehicle derived from the NV200 light commercial vehicle.
Its predecessor, the Nissan Kubistar, shared its platform and body with the Renault Kangoo, and although the NV200 has its own body style, it will again based on the Kangoo.

Aston Martin has showcased its 6.0-litre V12 Vantage at Geneva boasting 0-100 times of 4.2 seconds from the 380kW / 568Nm engine.
Production will be limited to between 300 and 500 units annually.

Brilliance Jinbei Automotive says it plans to offer its BS2 model as a competitor to the Volkswagen Golf by undercutting Europe’s best selling hatch by some 5,250 euros ($10,315 AUD).

Nissan unveiled a concept car at Geneva today under its Infiniti luxury brand that it plans to adapt for production as a diesel-electric hybrid car for the European market by 2010.
The Essence two-seater coupe (as pictured) is currently fitted with Nissan’s proprietary hybrid system and a 447kW 3.7-litre, turbocharged V6 petrol engine.
