Cross-dressing police officer charged for offensive behaviour

A police officer in western Sydney has just pleaded guilty to behaving in an offensive manner in a public place after he was caught wearing nothing but a G-string, bra and six-inch heels while touching himself in his car.

The cross-dressing officer, Peter Karras, 51, was spotted in Punchbowl by two other police officers who were patrolling the area and caught him in the act at around 10:40pm. Karras was off duty at the time and had his police uniform, including his gun belt, stacked up on the back seat.

Karras pleaded guilty in Burwood Local Court on Tuesday. He was convicted of the crime and charged $500 in court costs. A police spokesman later said Karras had been a police constable for six years.
