I know it's this year, but there are alot of clubs there, you'd need to find some classic car club in Brisbane.

It was advertised at the Australia Day Rally, telling owners to bring there cars and show the public how many classics are still around.

Hi Oz,

Do you know any more details of this event (first one)? Would be great to get in touch with the organisers. What time of the year is it held?

Thanks Matt.

There is something like this in Brisbane too where all classic car clubs come together and hold a major trip in a convoy through the streets. Aparently they'll be using Milton road - I don't know how safe that would be in a Vintage car.

There is also a smaller "rally" on Australia Day, they meet up at Ormiston State School on Australia Day morning and they branch out into 2 convoys and meet up at the end at Alex Hills hotel.

Hey BM,

You're right again... so little time so much to do! The individual car clubs usually host their own Show 'n' Shine within the event, but the major sponsors (I think it is Lumley's Special Vehicles this year) and the host club do have their own trophies and awards for extra special vehicles.

It truly is a huge show, pics do it no justice, far too much scale, you'd need a helicopter. It takes a good 4-6 hours to appreciate, longer if you get chatting.

Any one in VIC interested in anything a little retro really should take the kids and head up, it's a brilliant day out.

Looks like fun Matt......huge show..........we think that Big Als Poker Run is big,but 2500 entrants? Do they have trophies? Hate to be a judge!

I guess after your busy past weeks you haven't got to cleaning it yet. Id give you a hand but she's a bit far to travel to do a detail on the Monaro...........

Plenty of pics of everything else interesting would be good though.
