Don’t know about the new one but the old one had simply awful dimensions. It was sculpted straight out of the classic yank-tank styling instruction manual.
No plans for RHD , great who wants one any way .
exactly,they looks ugly,bad quality,low tech,worst dynamic,unreliable.
I drove one of these for a couple of weeks when I was in the US a few years ago. About the only thing going for it was its convertibility. The handling was a highlight, in that it was absolutely atrocious. I had never driven a car that felt less planted on the road. Even thinking about throwing it around a corner made the car tremble with fear. Truly.
I think you need a special degree in engineering to make a car handle this badly.
Oh dear Chrysler. When are we going to see the revolutionary cars you promised when the good taxpayers of the US bailed you out after the GFC? Almost every other manufacturer has now been able to overcome the awkward styling associated with folding hardtops. Perhaps that’s why there are no side-on photos in the press release?
Actually Jonathon the good tax payer bailed out GM. Chrysler Has a 14% interest loan. Do you really expect them to work a Miracle overnight. An all new version will be coming in a couple of years. You obviously haven’t been paying too much attention otherwise you would of noticed
the much improved products they have been releasing lately
I think Clarkson summed up this car perfectly when he stated, and i quote “It was almost certainly the worst car in the entire world. All it did was convert petrol to noise!”
Really guys. I have one of the last Chrysler Sebring LTD’s sold in OZ. It is my dream car at a very good price. I love it to bits. Tell me: for a person who drives about 8,000 km’s a year to do the shopping, visit a friend or two or go to a wedding what’s the big deal? Why spend more? I even live 4 km’s from the beach, so not many km’s to rack up there. I love the shape, I love it in good weather with the roof down as I go sparkling in the sun (it’s mafia black with sparkles) and I loved the price even more. My whole family regretted all of their car purchases when their big green eyes saw my car. You can keep your Beemers, your Jags and your Mercs. My money’s better spent. Chrysler – bring in the goods!
Hi Sheba My wife has one of the last Sebring convertibles too and both she and I love it. Ours runs fine and gives us no trouble and receives plenty of looks and admiring comments
